Terms of Service

Effective date: October 31, 2026

These terms cover your use of LinkCheck for YouTube (“LinkCheck”, “we”, “us”), the website at getlinkcheck.com and its preview address, run by R.Brown Automations. Contact: [email protected]. By using LinkCheck you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. What LinkCheck does

You give us a YouTube channel URL or @handle. We read that channel’s public video information (titles, view counts, publish dates and descriptions) through the YouTube API Services, pull out the links in the descriptions, and check whether each link still works by requesting it from our server and following its redirects. We then show which links look broken, sorted by video views, with a link to each video’s YouTube Studio edit page.

Results are automated and can be wrong. Some sites block automated checks or behave differently for a server than for a person. We mark those “check manually”. We never change anything on your channel. You decide what to edit.

2. YouTube

LinkCheck uses the YouTube API Services. By using LinkCheck, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. LinkCheck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

LinkCheck does not ask you to sign in with Google and does not get access to your Google or YouTube account. It only reads public channel data. How to stop using it or have your data deleted is explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your use

4. Your dashboard link

There are no passwords. After checkout you get a private dashboard link, and that link is your login. Anyone who has it can see your dashboard and add channels, so keep it private. If you lose it or think someone else has it, email us.

5. Subscription, billing and cancellation

6. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop parts of LinkCheck, and we may update these terms. If we change them, we’ll update the effective date above. For material changes we’ll also email current subscribers. Continuing to use LinkCheck after a change means you accept it.

7. No warranty

LinkCheck is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that every broken link will be found, that every link we flag is really broken, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, R.Brown Automations will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, affiliate commissions or data, arising from your use of LinkCheck. Our total liability for any claim relating to LinkCheck is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
